Outstanding Scientific Programme At World Congress On Osteoporosis 2010

Joint IOF and ESCEO Congress, to be held in Florence Italy, expected to be premiere bone health meeting of 2010



The International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis (ESCEO) have joined forces to present an outstanding scientific programme for the upcoming IOF WCO- ECCEO10, a global congress to be held in Florence, Italy from May 5-8, 2010.

IOF WCO-ECCEO10 will offer an overview of the most recent developments and cutting-edge research in the pathophysiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, as well as policy related issues such as health economics. With its global perspective, the Congress will be an excellent forum for interaction and the exchange of ideas among researchers and clinicians as well as specialists from allied health fields.



The programme provides a mix of both stimulating plenary lectures and Meet-The-Expert sessions on twenty clinically-oriented topics, as well as poster presentations, late breaking news, and satellite symposia.

The European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of
Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis (ESCEO) is a non-profit organization,
dedicated to a close interaction between clinical scientists dealing
with rheumatic disorders, pharmaceutical industry developing new
compounds in this field, regulators responsible for the registration of
such drugs and health policy makers, to integrate the management of
osteoporosis and osteoarthritis within the comprehensive perspective
